lens advice

Ok so I am going on a cruise in December, before I go I have decided to get a Nikon D50. However when I went to Ritz they have three lens packages with the body. The Nikkor 28-80mm F/3.3-5.6 G Lens, the Quantaray 28-90mm F/3.3-5.6 Lens, and the 18-55MM F/3.5-4.5G I assume by Nikon. Now I am a beginner and am just getting into this, which would be a better choice or all around lens?

your going to want the 18-55 for doing "normal" shots.

The Nikkor ae a better built lense and way better optics than the Quantaray. Id stick with them. And I thought the standard lense was an 18-70mm on Nikons?
