Whelp, thats the orchid on my dinner table and a Gardenia in a park down the street. All I have is a basic Sony point and shoot digital camera, nothing to fancy, and I lack Photoshop so I cropped everything in MS paint and then drew border around them. For just tooling around on auto mode, and being on low resolution I am happy enough. Hopefully in the near future I'll have a Photoshop and a better camera. Let me know what you think!

That orchid is awesome. I could see a lot of creative things being done witha flower with such shape.

I had a friend take a black and white picture of a Frangipani and overlay nudes (tasteful) of his girlfriend into the petals. It turned out badass and at first glance you didn't even see her in the picture at all, just the flower. I also thought it was pretty cool that he did it all with film, by hand.

Not the photo he took, just a random image incase people don't know what a Frangipani is.

They are really cool plants, and come in a HUGE variety of shapes, colors, and sizes, and they can old their flowers for weeks, even in a bouquet.
