We are presently looking for two people in the Tampa Bay area to sell advertising space in the upcoming issue of Down Shift Magazine. The selling point of this print cycle is the upcoming St Petersburg Festival of Speed on February 26th where we will have models present to distribute several thousand copies of the issue.

This is a good oppurtunity for anyone with sales experience to get their feet wet in the advertising arena. This print cycle should be particularly easy as it focuses on a lifestyle event, the Festival of Speed. This enters restaurants and other lifestyle oriented businesses into an otherwise automotive dominated advertising arena. Typical sales for a PT account rep are between $900-$1400 per print cycle. The deadline for this print cycle is 2/13/06 and I would expect around 20 hours of work to be involved in the related sales, so thats roughly $70/hr. All advertising sales transactions are handled in house so there is no worry with handling funds, convienantly advertising clients after signing a contract can purchase their advertisement online from our website; here. Responsibilities:
Business to Business Sales
-Secure new advertising clients
-Perform cold calling and onsite visitation as needed.
-Maintain and service existing clients
-Maintain professional attitude and appearance at all times.
Compensation:
40% Commission on all advertising sales
20% Commission on all services
Internship Credit available through USF, UF, UCF and UT.
