You should be training for your own benefit, not to compete with others on a forum in a test of strengh.

I dont want how strong someone is to be the determining factor in a "fitness challenge". Anyways, I do train for my own benefit, but theres nothing wrong with a little motivation. But you should tell your theory to all the body builders, strength trainers, and professional athletes in the world.

There are no pics of you in your profile, you talk the talk and seem to be VERY knowledgeable on every aspect of health//nutrition/supplement/weight training and anything else in the history of the world concerning fitness. I still wanna see some pics.

Ask Keenan, he's trained w/ me for a while. I work with Zate, so pm him if you want to verify my credentials.

Here at USF, they have a Fittest Bull challenge. It has flexability, endurance, speed, power, etc all in one grand contest.

that sounds cool. maybe we could do something like that. i think having some sorta team competition would be cool, even teams as small as 2.

now we just hafta figure out where to have this. a beach is always fun, but the problem is finding a beach thats not crowded where we'd actually have room to set up some stuff.

Why your questioning Steve (raveman) dumbfounds me. Hes probably one of the most in shape people I know both in real life and on this forum. You should atleast thank Steve for the clearing of the misinformation that is so prevalent especially on this board.

Steve DID post a picture of himself awhile back, that thread has unfortuanatley been deleted. He is a big guy, he is strong as hell. The information he provides you on this board should be enough proof that he has an above average competence in the health and fitness field.

The only thing computer generated about Steve is the fact that hes in IT.

One final word about Steve, he is bar none the best training partner Ive had to date. He motivates the hell out of me and keeps the intensity high in the gym. If your so inclined to see either Steve or I then feel free to stop by the lifestyles in Hyde Park.

With that being said Im all for a "fitness challenge" as this is the Health and "Fitness" forum (however ive seen less threads on fitness here and more on "how do I bulk").

When is the date for the next one anyway? I remember they rescheduled the first like 2 or 3 times because of the hurricanes.

I dont wanna completely rule out strength and conditioning, I wanna hit the weights too, maybe some push ups or pull up or something.

Well, Strongest Bull (bench, dead, squat) is March 4th. They have Fittest Bull in the Fall semester, and I do not believe they have set an offical date for that.

i'm in for football. i know i could outrun/juke you, but i equate getting hit by don to going over the middle and having a linebacker crack me in the back.

as for the fitness challenge... i challenge anyone on this forum to do more cock push-ups than me.

Football would be a blast. Actually, my office and myself were considering starting a flag football team.. not as fun as tackle, but better then nothing.. I'd be down for tackle as well though. Not as big as some of you, but I think I can manage.

As far as a challange - how about a half marathon or 1.5M or something?

Football would be fun, but im interested in overall fitness...
If were up for some kind of power to weight ratio, agility, endurance, speed thing I'd be up for it..
