Gauging Interest 2006 Jayco 1007 Pop-up camper

Just gauging interest at this point. New retail on this is $7500.00. Here is the link to Jayco's web-page. This has never been used. I don't even pick it up until Wednesday (Feb 27th). It does have a refrig and awning (listed as options on web-page). I won it from the RV show a few weekends ago.

My wife and I have been looking to buy a pop-up for over a month now. I too prefer a larger pop-up but I'm also willing to buy a smaller and newer model if the price is right. I think I saw the one you're selling at the RV show also. Could you please tell me what other options are included besides the fridge and awning. Does your RV come with a water heater and furnace? How many btu's does your AC have and does it include the outside stove?

Yes it has a furnace and water heater. I don't know on the A/C, I'll have to get back to you. Yes is has the outside stove.

Hondacr06, Bates RV has it in Tampa. I was supposed to pick it up on Wednesday but they couldn't make it happen. I guess they're swamped because of the RV show. So, they rescheduled our pickup for the 27th. It's been a frustrating process but I guess I have no room to complain.

If you can believe it, we still don't have it. But, I am going to pick it up on Friday (finally). BTW, it does not have A/C installed, it will have to be added. As far as selling it goes, I'll talk to my wife again and see what she thinks. She's changed her mind 2 or 3 times since we found out. I'll let you know after I pick it up.

Actually I finally have it in my possession...it is awesome. I need to correct a few things I stated earlier. It does have a fridge and awning but it does not have A/C or heat. The supports are in place and all of the wiring but the unit itself did not come with it. It does have a water heater. One cool thing that it has that I didn't know about is trailer brakes...it makes it real nice when pulling to know they'e back there. On the downside you, have to have a brake controller on your vehicle to get them to work. U-haul charges $150 to install it.

Yes, I'm interested if the price is right. First, I'll need to find out how much it'll cost to install the A/C and heater units. Also, there's a 17' (closed) 2001 Coleman Niagra Elite pop-up trailer for sale in Brandon that we're going to see this weekend. Although it may be too big for us, the owner is asking just $5,000 for everything. Anyway, let me know if your wife still wants to sell it and maybe we'll arrange to see it also...thanks.
