I NO LONGER WORK FOR BRIGHTHOUSE. YOU CAN FOLLOW THIS LINK FOR JOB OPPORTUNITIES: http://mybrighthouse.com/careers.aspx

Brighthouse is currently hiring "advanced broadband specialists".

Its a help desk job taking calls from people with brighthouse internet that cannot connect and booking techs for them. its not too technical, but a backround in computers is necessary. The location is carillon park, the first exit right after HF bridge in st. pete. pay is about $11/hr 40hr work weeks. You will get free digital cable, RR, DVR, the works. Excellent medical/dental benefits as well.

I will personally give a $100 bill to anyone that gets hired and stays past the 90 day probationary period. If you stay past the probationary period I get a $250 bonus, $100 of which I will give to you.

all you have to do is send me your resume, and I will personally put in a good word for you, and get it to the right people.

I know the location. My mom used to work at PSCU. I would hope the bright house job is better than this AOL.

Hehe, we hired a few people on here at Verizon, from the AOL call center, and they are making $21 an hour here. They were telling me how it was so micro managed there and laugh at the fact that they don't work near as hard here and are making double their salary.

One guy's name is Ron Galvagni and the other guy's name is Rob (kind of big guy), don't know his last name though.

I think its not bad of a job, really. Yea its a bitch to get the talk time stuff down, but the most important thing is the policies. A JOKE. especially the attendance policy.

What are the hours if this position is still open

our next two classes for this month have filled up for the ABS department. Im sure they will be looking for more people. they changed the format for possible applicants. now, what they want is for you to go here, and complete the process under "careers"

Tampabay.mybrighthouse.com

When you fill out the actual application it will have an area for referrals. Put me down under "current advance newhouse employee" (Daniel Migliore), if you get the job I will give you $100 out of the $200 sign on bonus I receive. Its easy to miss so keep your eye out for it. Having a referral also helps, as generally referalls will always get a call while other applicants may not.

Good luck!

Truer words couldn't have been said. I put in about 4 apps over a 6 mth period. But when he put in my app himself, the supervisor called me THAT night for an interview and got the job (even though I ended up not taking it due to scheduling issues, and my current job "sweetened the deal" so to speak).

I have applied for a number of positions at the St. Petersburg location via the website provided; however, I experienced many errors during the processing of my resume, and it has not been transmitted properly (it does not display properly when viewed). I have emailed the website support staff, yet I honestly do not expect a reply; if you have any other contact information, it would be greatly appreciated.
