This international company is seeking an accountant to take charge of inventory control and profit and loss. Duties will include: Maintain accurate count of inventory levels of products and provide useful date to purchasing. Prepare consolidated internal and external inventory variance analysis reports and analyzing variances; analyzing work-in-progress inventory and finished goods stock to account for the raw materials purchased and produced; Developing cost standards for material and labor and transportation and shipping; Preparing financial statements by gathering and analyzing information for the general ledger system from departments. Oversee profit and loss of inventory. Protect organization by keeping information confidential. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and keeping abreast of current market trends.
