Figured we needed an Official baseball thread.. You can brag about wins. Agonize over defeat. Spread rumors about trades and steroids. Or anything else you baseball gurus chat about. Lets see how far this goes over the next 162 games.
Great way to start the season, Cubs crushed Reds pitching all day, winning 16-7. The whole game was a highlight film

My Sox looked pretty good against the Rangers and won our first Opening Day game in 6 years.

My Sox (The white ones) looked awesome against the indians!
My ALL time fav player, Frank Thomas, hit a hr in his A's debut and i was happy for him (although i cannot get used to him in green/gold).
i was dissapointed with the DRays (mostly Kaz) but i still think they will finish a few games over .500.
Please tell me someone saw Bonds getting hit with a siringe (sp?), that's some fked up shit by the SD fans.

BAH!
what a bad start.
I'd like to say we'll be back, but I (like 47% of Reds fans, according to cincinnatireds.com) think we just need to work for .500.

who then took 2 from the indians :lmao:
I am in baseball bliss right now! KW (Sox GM) was robbed last year from winning GM of the year but better get it this year. Thome is the man and Javier Vazquez was a great pick up as well. 8 in a row and counting!
Cubs lost DLee to a broken wrist, out for 2-3 months, prolly wont be 100% til 2007
/season

cheer up john! you could always start to cheer for chicago's second team ;)
i'll even let you use one of my Sox caps
Oh, sure, I could do that, and start rooting for the Cards too while I'm at it - not. I don't hate the Sox, just dont feel the love is all.
I guess I'll just have to watch the Rays
