A shooting on Detroit’s northeast side early Tuesday morning has left a well known Detroit rapper and another man dead.

The shooting occurred on 8 Mile Rd. Rap artist Proof and another man were both shot to death at the Triple C club, at around 4:30 a.m.

Police are investigating the scene, and there has been word yet of suspects or motives.

Proof is a member of the rap group D12, and a close friend of Eminem’s.

It has been reported that Proof was the best man at Eminem’s recent wedding to Kim Mathers.

Wow I actually liked that band, its fucking sad for you people to say shit about someone getting killed but if it was someone you knew It would be a totally different story. I actually thought Proof was a talented writer and Im not all into rap, even if you dont like that kind of music you dont need to ridicule someones death. Especially if they've been assassinated.
