Lowes is my favorite but Home Depot is cheaper with the oops paint!

I check out the oops everytime I go. At some point I'll have the whole house repainted. :)

Each store is about equidistant from my house, and I frequent both, but when it comes down to maybe needing advice about plumbing or something that I'm not super familiar with, I go to Home Depot. The old guys that work at the store in Zephyrhills on 54 all seem like retired tradesman and they are very knowledgable.

If I know what i need, lowe's as I am in and out in record time. If I know what I have to do, but don't know what I need... home depot.

I go to Lowe's 75% of the time

It used to be that way at the North Tampa store (my dad was one of them), but over the years HD finds ways to fire them and hire in $6/hr shit bricks with tongue rings in their place.

I don't really have a preference. I have noticed that if you need building materials, rough-in supplies, actual construction stuff, HD seems better. If you need finishing materials or accessories, Lowes seems to have you covered.

Lowes is teh gay. Good luck finding help from someone during the weekday. Home Depot seems like they are more on top of helping customers find what they need. But if you know what you want and need there pretty much the same.

i like lowes better bc they are cleaner and more organized. whenever i go to home depot, i cant ever find anything bc the order of the isles dont make sense to me. then when i ask someone at hd for help, they tell me the isle # and point and usually its the wrong one. when i ask at lowes, the always walk me over to the correct place. they also seem more helpful at lowes. maybe it depends on the store location you go to? also, whenever i go into the new lowes by my house they always recognize me, could have something to do with the amount of money and time i spent there the first 2 weeks they were open though, lol.

I always go to Lowes first. If they don’t have what I need then I go to Home Depot. I can always find someone to help me a Lowes, finding some assistance at Home Depot is impossible.
