OK, so I posted about paint colors.. here are some pics for you guys to look over of a few parts of the house... The only parts not shown are the other 2 bedrooms which are berber carpet (I hate that crap) and same walls, etc...I'm open to any suggestions!

Very true! 20 that I can think of, lol.... The media room and living room are both in-wall wired for surround sound, and the whole house is networked... The computer in the media closet is hooked to both the receiver in that room and the living room so we can play the same music in both rooms simultaneously. Last night was the first night that my neighbor has come over and asked us to turn it down, lol... We were all sitting at the bar / downstairs room drinking / eating pizza, etc and I guess we got a bit too rowdy, lol....

Yeah i enjoy my LCD in the room, I had it hooked to the media PC before and that was cool, but I decided to simplify the room and took it out. The bar was a garage sale find - $20! I stripped and re-stained it and it has worked out great.


Next step is hardwood for the remainder of the floor around the bar... And paint - if I can decide what colors to go with.

If I had my choice I would go with a cherry stain in the kitchen, but I am concerned that with no windows it would be too dark. I also thought about putting in one of those flexible skylights to bring in more light. I have no idea how much they cost though.

lol, plumbego bushes on the front step walls. the lazy man's bush :) those things are great if you want a hedge in a week and a half, they grow very fast.

i like the house man it looks nice and simple. kitchen seems a little bare on the counters though. looks like you've seeded the front lawn or are planning to lay down some sod?

I have the same stove, microwave and dish washer...lol my refrigerator is double door with the water/ice thing. Mine are black and stainless steel tho.:nono: They are a bytch to keep clean.
