Hi,my name is Don Hoy and I am looking for a new and exciting position in the entertainment/production field. I have been shooting and editing video for over 4 years and have a great reputation with the people I have done work for. I have worked for several big companies like Home Shopping Network (Floor Director), ESPN (promo packages), and have done on field audio for the Tampa Bay Bucs. WORK EXPERIENCE
01/06- 03/06 Aero Photo St Petersburg, FL
I am currently working as an Aerial Photographer for Aero Photo in St Petersburg, FL. I take aerial photos of construction sites, for land surveying projects, and for insurance companies in 7 states. Those states include: Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and South Carolina. After taking the photos I come back to the office and process the images, which are then printed and mailed, put onto disc, or emailed to the customer. The possessing of the images includes: resizing the image, cropping depending on the client needs, color correcting, and any other changes that need to be made.
07/04- Present Freelance Videography/Editing Bay Area, FL
I have been shooting video and editing for over 4 years. At the current time, I am working on a few projects including: doing a multimedia video and documentation as a government contractor working for Northrop Grumman, working as a PA for ABC’s “Miracle Workers”, and, shooting dance recitals, cheer competitions, and commercial work for Rehl Video Productions in St. Petersburg.
08/05- 09/05 Honeywell CMSS Sarasota, FL
I was working in the engineering department of the CMSS (Cabin Management, Systems and Services). I helped create a training manual and training videos for/about their new audio/video products that will be used in private aircrafts. Honeywell needed someone to come in and create training materials for them to use for future engineers as well as have a tool to use in conjunction with their LEAN team to make the process more efficient.

At HSN I worked as a Stage Coordinator/Floor Director for the Live Show. I was responsible for preparation and displays of all products that go on air. In addition I was responsible for positioning the props, hosts, and models as well as the blocking of the cameras and lighting. I work directly with the producer and director to help with graphics, as well as audio, and all on air needs.
12/98- 12/02 United States Marine Corps Camp Pendleton, CA
I served 4 years in the Marine Corps as a Motor-T Chief. I was responsible for all the vehicles and trailers used to transport troops and ammunitions for an artillery battery. I performed all military duties and was highly trained in my field. The Marine Corps taught me discipline and taught me to be a leader.
