I spent the weekend looking around at guitars, and there really is a reason Taylors and Martins cost $3000. They sound that good.

Les Paul? I was talking acoustics! Sure, Gibson guitars are hot, I play one, but jesus, the $2400 Martin Dreadnaught I played was a sexual experience.

I really almost bought the Martin I played, especially when they offered 12 months no payments, no interest, but then I realized I'd be paying $200 a month for a guitar and that's almost my Harley payment. So, instead, I bought some new strings for my ovation, a new slide, came home, washed and waxed the guitar, adjusted the action, popped on the new strings, and it was like playing a new guitar for $30 instead of $2400 :D
