View Full Version : Some pics of my house...
Moved in ~7/29/2005. FSBO, it was one of those "we buy your house cash" deals, where 3 guys went in and bought it from some sap who was behind on his payments like a bastich.

Oh yay the front of the house!

The bus stop. Eery morning kids like to toss thier trash in my ditch, and since the house is on one of the busiest roads in the whole neighborhood, trash is always getting throw into the ditch, which makes great confetti when I space out when mowing.

Damn. Realestate has gone up that high ? I will be moving somewhere else when it's time for me to buy a new home. No way I will be paying 250k and be In that close of a proximity to other people. If i pay over a 1/4 million for a piece of property, it better be well spread out. I wonder how much properties are in Brooksville.

I'm saying thats what tax records say it sold for.

So you sold it?
Thats what the county has it assessed at. It is pry worth 5-10% more than that. The county assessment is always low.

So you sold it?
No you idiot. The person/company that bought it from the previous owner, then sold it to him paid that much for it. Learn to read.

I definetely will. Any suggestions ? Thanks for the advice.

I'm still living in my house, 180k
250k is across the street and tax records show it sold for 250k.
I would have fun with the landscaping in this house. Some nice hedges and ground cover, weed n feed on the grass.... or just new sod all together.
If you paid 180 for that house, some landscaping would help raise it's value... I would imagine. My parents almost bought a house for my sister and I in tallahassee for 175 and it looks like a house in St Pete would go for 250-300k.
Real estate is ridiculous around here.
EDIT: btw, you have an advantage here of owning a home on a corner lot. Your lot looks huge.

Yeah it's like 1/4 acre about. I'm working on the landscaping, I'm trying to rejuvinate the lawn as best as I can before I go to re sod. I have a large portion of the front looking good (or better) and I'm going to pick up some more weed/feed forthe back yard and the side yard. I want to get the rock out of the planter and do red mulch, a few simple shrubs for my lizard friends to live in.
Nothing too drastic, it's going to get sold when I graduate anyway.
