Anybody work on roofs before? I would like to learn a little more about them...

I am looking at the preconstruction houses in my neighborhood and it just seems like they are plywood and then they put this tarp and tar on or something like that then shingle or tile....

COrrect?

Anybody work with them?

That's it. They either use OBX or plywood. Put tar paper down with staples, then shingles down with nails. Simple and it works for quite a few years.
