i have reached the point to get a dslr cam. right now with my budget i am inbetween the d50, digital rebel xt,and the pentax. can someone please help me. or point me and the right direction. thank you in advance

I personally like the XT, but its almost the most expensive of the group. The Pentax K100 with the built in noise reduction seems kinda nice for the price.

i like the pentax, but i dont know much about there products. how are they when compared to others?

I couldnt honestly tell you, they've been in the business for a long time and have a decent aftermarket. But it seems everyone goes either Nikon or Canon when it goes DSLR

thats what i noticed.. which is why im not sure if i want to spend that much money on a product many people choose not to use.
I use a Nikon D70s myself- got it a month or so ago and am very happy. They have some good reviews of all three at http://www.dpreview.com/

I just got a D50 I like it I'm still learning so its a nice fit

I have a Nikon D50, and I absopositivinlutely love it! It suits my every need.
It's my first DSLR and I will probably stick with Nikon for the duration... I am very pleased with it!

get a canon, therefor u can stay ahead of technology and not 1 step behind ;)
any event ive ever shot canon > nikon
