I deleted the $profile section from my template and all my colors went back to normal and there is no way for me to go in and edit it, the edit profile links are all gone.

the css is in your $profile section, so if you remove that, you have to copy all the css into the template

I just now added a link to at the bottom of the page to edit your profile, that isnt affected by the template :) good find james
