Lightning Shots

I took this the other night in a freak lightning storm that swept up on us... it was quite interesting.

not bad, ive spent years trying to get the shot I want. Biggest problem im having is getting an open area to really capture the storm with it, and also giving it some context.


I would ahave liked to have seen the other in color, its really hard to tell a storm was coming with it being black and white

Yeah, there's not really many areas to get any decent shots around here... florida is just become too overcrowded.

Although, today I was on my way to tampa on the crosstown when we were coming up on the Ice Palace and bam, spark of lightning right beside it... would have made for an awesome shot... lol! Ironic though, hehe!

The other shot looked ok in color, looked MUCH better in b&w... the clouds were just off to the right, you can see them a bit coming in but alas.. yeah.
