maybe the fence was new, wasn't attached at the bottom, first car went through and the fence closed like a garage door and the cop didn't see

i read some where about how he had rigged it earlier so the fencing was not attached to the 2 side rails and when he drove through it it just flapped back down looking like he drove right through a fence without tearing it up, and thus getting away like a genius
