We picked up a little rug for the front door from target, a nice fake plant from michaels, katie bought a nice dining room table, and i just hung a little picture and a mail/key holder on the wall(were going to stain the mail holder a darker color to match the table.

I'll post up some pics of the living room later. We got an area rug that matches the rug by the front door(we also put a matching rug in the kitchen). We also picked up a nice entertainment stand and another fake plant.

I know tell me about it! We got ours on sale from michaels. The one in the pic was $16.99 and the one we have in our living room is alot bigger and it was $70 but we had a 50% off coupon so we picked it up for $35.

Question: What's the deal with the lighting situation in the dining room?
All i've seen from the pics is the one flood-style spot light. :dunno:

Yeah, there's only one light above the dining room area...but it's perfect.
We have a light above the bar too that we could turn on if needed.

yea we have recessed lighting above the table and one above the bar and a big light in the kitchen that we use most of the time to light the area.
