So you suggest one track at a time that everyone should check out. If people like it then you get a point. If not they say it sucks and you lose a point. Whoever's left with the best score in this neverending game wins. Anyway post a track and put your current score next to it each time.

Mastodon - "Sleeping Giant"

I've got to go with a negative on that. I don't like most metal as is so i'll give it a -1/2 on account of bias i suppose.

The parts where the acoustic chimes in sounds corny to me, among other things. If you stripped that out of the song you'd have something i wouldn't mind as much when it comes to metal.

I'm gonna change the rules so you get points for good tracks. It cuts down on posts the otherway and keeps an easily definable score but it also cuts out the dialogue for good music.

+1 for Atmosphere. Not my favorite track of his but still good. 0 for Dying of Laughter. It starts off nice and i like the bit in the middle but it's kinda the usual hardcore stuff mostly.

I have nothing useful to contribute (yet), but you reminded me of Tim Gunn from Project Runway just now, Jerm. He is always saying "make it work, make it work".. anyhow it made me laugh early in the morning, thank you!!

The Blue around you... almost a Tom Yorke sound to me.

+1 to Whitebread for "Cops". My favorite suggestion so far. I usually don't go for the screamier stuff but that had some bite to it and it was different than the usual setup.

+2 to Slowsohc for "Father" and "Blue". They're both solidly enjoyable songs that i think just about anyone could get into.

If you can get the songs from a different place than Myspace it'd be cool, i'll still check it out anyway though. It takes damn near forever for it to load up. I don't look for bands on there just because of that. Tom needs to clean his internet pipes cause that shit is clogged up.

Alright i went and rapidshared both the suckers. And that Duke Spirit took some effort had to find my cd, burn the track,....

Didn't like Sky Eats Airplane. Nice name though.

Campaign for Real Time had a sweet track or two. They sound Killlersish but way better.

Circa Survive wasn't bad either.
