View Full Version : Exterior update:
After months, finally got around to finishing the windows. Kelli and I spent the better part of the weekend getting the carpentry done, caulking and painting the 7 windows on the front portion of the house. It was a good bit more work than putting up the usual fake shutters that people use, but I think the result is worth it. Still need to do some paintwork around the bottom of the house where it meets the grass, and some misc facia and soffit.

Very nice, man.
Might take care of the growth on the cover for your trunk line of your a/c, though. ;)
Quick update, went and cleared around the house and painted the bottom block white. Finally time for some landscaping, and to address the hideousness of the roof & some of the soffit/facia areas.

How much is that place worth if you dont mind me asking? If you want to pm me some specs that would be cool too.

Looks really good. What size wood did you use to border the windows?

Thanks. Just basic 2x4's and 1x4's where necessary. The header piece on the top is just a bevel cut on the tablesaw of a 2x4.
