Aphex Twin

Anyone recommend an Apex Twin album? I was thinking about getting "I Care Because You Do" but am not sure. Anyone?

If you hadn't heard a thing of his i'd scope out some of his stuff on the internet beforehand. He's very hit and miss for me at times. The best places to start would be the Richard D. James album and Selected Ambient Works 85-92.

Grab the track Windowlicker too. It's one of his best and it's only on an ep.

I was going to suggest Window Licker as well. I have their best of and ehhh.. so so. Some of his stuff is just noise, and other stuff is great. It has a crazy beat etc. Just depends on what you like.

Ninja Tunes has a lot of experimental stuff like that as well.

Ah - Thanks. That is what I was afraid of. I did not want to get it and find random noise and what not. I remember how disappointed I was when Mike Patton released his solo efforts.

There is a torrent on demonoid for it .. ran across it dling random Aphex twin vids........ Man I forgot how great these guys were audio and visually.
