So I got my letter of rejection from the apartments that I've been waiting months for.

Needless to say, I was a little upset. It's about the only place I can afford... the only that I've found that I can afford anyway.

So now I'm looking in the Flyer, and the St Pete Times for an affordable place. Good luck huh?

I always thought that when they did credit checks for apartments, they were mainly looking for evictions or broken lease agreements... I have neither. But apparently, not so good credit is bad enough.

It's income restricted, so I would think that'd be more reason to be all the more lenient about credit.

I guess not.... :(
