Hey - I was fucking bored and saw this Q was asked on another site I go to and thought it would be entertaining to ask it here.

As far as Albus - I have my theories - but book #7 will be out soon enough and will answer my questions. Albus also uses a different kind of magic than Gandalf, but both are known to be quite ancient.

I dont think its even a question of magic ablity, its more of a physical ablility to survive such a battle. You see Gandlaf battling out side bys ide againist the Orcs with a sword. Albus has a hard time getting out of a chair.

bitches! this question is unanswerable as we don't yet know if dumbledore will exist in future books. i sure as hell wasn't expecting to see much more of gandalf when i read the fellowship the first time.

i don't know who that other character is, but it doesn't matter because he can't be more badass than gandalf. after i read the silmarillion, i understood what gandalf was, and it was actually much cooler than it seemed in the lord of the rings books, at least it was to me at 12 years old. haha, i read those books so many times in middle school.
