Since we're moving out, I figured I'd put this up here for those who are looking.
It's a decent two-story apartment unit in the Lake Magdalene (Fletcher Ave. & Dale Mabry Hwy.) area. The neighbors have been good, and the location is ideally close to everything else.
The place is really not that bad. There's some wear-and-tear in the unit, but it's something fixable. You may be even able to negotiate a monthly rent based on these wear-and-tear. Our monthly rent was $950.
Here is a basic overview on the unit:
- Two story unit
- Includes a patio facing a big green lawn
- Two bedrooms upstairs
- Living room and kitchen downstairs
- 1 x full bathroom upstairs
- 1 x half-bathroom downstairs (no shower just a toilet)
- cabinet space for your washer and dryer units
- Includes a refrigerator with a broken light fixture (I tried replacing the lights and it's still not turning on)
- Includes a working oven (I fixed the loose timer myself because they would not come out and fix it)
- Our move-in deposit was $150. The pet fee is $300 and non-refundable.
We had multiple AC problems with the place, but they seemed to have fixed it after we gave them our notice of leave. Don't you just love that?
Anyway, if you're willing to take a chance at this place, rent is really not that bad if you split it with another roommate and the area is not far from everything else. Just make sure you get everything in writing before you move in. I've attached some forms that you can use.
