Animated signatures and avatars....why don't they work for me?

Can someone give me a quick tutorial on how to use them?


Every time I try give myself an animated avatar I get an error message telling me the file is too big and if the file isn't too big then the avatar isn't animated :(

I've come to the conclusion that the admin have the right to choose who they want to have animated avatars.
