I go to the one in Daytona when we go over there bout 5-6 times yr....i am going to Maui for 2 weeks in June....my girl really wants to travel more and more as her finincial situation gets better and better being a young up and coming attorney....
Besides i don't care if i never travel i signed up to Golds because it was Golds man now that its not i may as well exercise in my garage with friends or some backwards shit like that.... Golds deserves more money for membership for the perks no matter how big or small they may be....Brandon Craplethtics doesn't deserve the same amount of money that Golds did plain and simple....

It's not free to go to ANY Golds whenever you want, you realize that? You get a guest pass which is typically good for 2-3 visits.
Golds are franchises. Each one is different. I worked at one for 2 years.

Brandon Golds got bought by JT, Golds wanted like $200,000 or some shit to use their name, so he decided to change the name to Brandon Sports Club.
If you have ever tried going to other Gold's gyms, you might be suprised that they wont allow you to work out there, because the old owners in Brandon were so shady and would never fax the paperwork that they were supposed to.
I think having JT as the new owner is a move in a good direction, he seems motivated to make changes that the old owners didn't give a shit about. Just check my sig, he's allowing us to run a full powerlifting meet there.

I still think that it loses something in the translation...i have gone to several golds at different times and had no problem but that is just my experience....
I don't feel that without the name it is worth the same membership money is all....

Yeah, I tried going to the gold's on waters once and they gave me a real hard time, but eventually let me work out there.
I'd go in and talk to JT, I think he usually gets there late in the afternoon, like 4pm.
Don't most gyms let you have a couple free workouts if you are thinking of joining? Just tell them you just moved in and are looking for a new membership, they will let you work out for free while you think about it
