I was going to post this in FFA but it would have been moved probably anyway so whatever... I'll give it a try in here.

How do you edit a picture so that one thing is color and the rest is black and white?

Photoshop. I think I saw someone post it somewhere on how they did it but I can't find it.

Use sparringly, its great with some stuff but it can definately be overused. :)

Another way of doing it is to use the magic wand to select the item you want colorized, and then invert that (so everything you want black and white is selected now) and just go to the "Saturation" control and un-saturate that selection to B&W. That way you don't have to create new layers, erase stuff, etc. I've found it quicker on some photos.
