I've finally been accepted into the College of Education. Now I will go full time. I'm pretty excited. I had to share the news, though I know it doesn't seem like a big deal. :)

Congrats! Some people just don't understand how hard the College of Education really is! I've had about 3 or 4 friends struggle to get in! Good for you.

Regina, are you taking any classes this Summer? I'm afraid that we're too far along to take any of the same classes but I'm taking a very general class during Summer A (US Government or something). Let me know :)

Well, I have orientation in May. I plan to register for classes immediately after that because they will not allow me to register for any education classes until I attend the orientation. I'm hoping to get at least 3 summer classes, but we'll see! I'll let you know (remind me). Haha.

well I'm taking a class that isn't necessarily in the college of ed. Are you going to be Elementary? Do you need any social science courses? or do you have that requirement already fulfilled?

Oh yeah, I have all of my pre-reqs done. That's a requirement to get into the College. I am going for Elementary Ed though. I'm assuming I'm going to be another 2 years or so. :dunno:

Mine is 120, but I plan on getting my masters eventually anyway. I'm actually planning on celebrating my entrance into the college when the semester is over. If you're interested, I'll let you know!

I'm definitely down for that! That's good that your program is only 120 credit hours! I think mine actually says 120 but I was told by my advisor that it was actually 140....I can't recall. But I'm regretting my choice of degree!

Are you really? We should talk about this sometime. I am learning so many interesting things that almost make me regret it, but I'm going to try.

I should be available more often this Summer...but I'm also on Campus all day on Tuesdays and for one class on Thursday...so if you want to meet up ever just hit me up ahead of time. I'd love to chat more. We could meet in a computer lab and talk about your degree requirements in greater detail as well.
