Xbox 360 problem

My xbox 360 flashes 3 red lights when powered on. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

Warranty still? If not, you can try the heatgun trick.

Also check the power cable. If my power cable in the back of the box is offset just enough, I'll get the three red lights and no start up. I reset everything and fix the cord, everything works fine.

It's probably the overheating code. You can check to see which code it's throwing at you.
