Pay is competitive, you have to consider the Benefits, the Medical plan and everything related to it is awesome. Plus the comp cable, I'm only paying $21.95 for 2 HD DVR's, 2 Digi Boxes and 15/2 High speed.

Working here is great, at lest in the region I'm working for (Pinellas). I don't hold one of those positions but work with the Network admin for Pinellas daily. As well as the others in the positions you mentioned.

It's a job , pay is ok there is not the potential of making six figures.

I'm glad I no longer work there.

It's a stepping stone.

The benefits are the amazing part - the pay, not so much.

I will agree that things could be better. But for what little experience I had when I came here I can't complain.

I'd personally hate to go from SMB shit that you currently do (or did) to something like Brighthouse

I 'still' do it. Just keeping my options open. Honestly...not many jobs that can afford me (BH Net admin job included). I would need 75-80k to consider changing jobs.

Charles as I said before, you will not make 75k-80k as a Net Admin in this place.... move on.

Also as an FYI, I actually love what I do - but again I've only been in this business for about 3 years so it works fairly well for me paywise ( considering the time i've been doing this for), and I get to work with awesome technologies every day that I couldn't at any regular IT shop, unless I step in to some crazy enterprise shit like national financial institutions and such... I can safely say that you are waaaay over qualified for any of those positions Carlos.
