How much do you guys bulk to from your "maintained" weight, and how much do you cut down to?

my upper body is getting pretty big, but im starting to get fat, but im nowhere near the target weight i wanted.. i was going for 150-155.. i'm about 138 right now and can't imagine myself with another 15 pounds. i started out at 123

seems like all my bulking weight is going to my stomach. :< i'm definitely a LOT bigger than i was, muscular wise, though.

im not doing competitions, or in a rush, so i have plenty of time to modify diets, workouts, etc. just need some suggestions on what i need to cut out. i don't care if my food is horrible tasting, or tasteless, i'm used to it by now.

i'm guessing my diet is just too fatty, and i need to eliminate ALL sugars..etc.

if i'm super strict on carb intake, does that defeat the entire "bulking" ?

suggestions?

Fat doesn't make you fat. I would lower your calories. If you're not in a hurry, just do a really slow bulk. Simple carbs = bad, complex carbs = good. Taper them.
