What are some good decent clubs in ybor? I am used to dallas bull. What are some nice ones in ybor?

I am into rap music, rock music but PLEASE no techno..

Ampitheater closes down Saturday and it's the best one.

Prana or Code or...there's one more I can't remember...but they are the only 3 I'd ever walk into.

anyone who thinks Amp was the best club shouldn't be going out. yeah it pulled down some great names in the day but jesus, don't be naive/ignorant.

try the underground on a weekend. i hear that hip hop night is craaazy.

unless you're a white boy and don't like your rap with black people.

Also, everyone goes out for different things, it's kind of objective.

So what are you looking for, a white club that plays rap? You'll be hard pressed to find that in Ybor.

Try Channelside as long as you are over 21 .. under 21 you will have no luck ...

They opened up 2 new country bars over there, Which looking at your posts , looks like you like it :roll:

Ya Channelside is the shit. I went to that Mcgraws country bar,didnt want to but was meeting people but its a pretty nice place with a good amount of hotties. A/c was broke friday night and it was hot as fuck in there... $6 For all top layer clubs including Banana Joes,Sling shot and margarita mammas..Hell of a deal and drinks arnt too bad eiether...passed throught Ybor on thursday night and its DEAD!!!!!

If you like country try Round Up in North Pinellas. I don't know what they play at Dallas Bull, I'm just guessing by the name that you like country.

i love Skye.. when i'm walking around friday nights you are promised at least 2-3 fight between nasty ass girls in line waiting to get it. if that is not worth watching i'm not sure what IS!

in the end it's best to walk into a place, give it about 15-20 minutes and make the call yourself. everyone on here has some sort of bias against certain clubs/venues, but if the music, drink specials, or crowds interest you, who CARES what the windbags on here say.

Yes, it is. It's boring and hot as an armpit.

Glad to see other people who don't think OMG YBOR IS SO FUCKIN GREAT!!1 It's not all that. Most of the 18-up clubs are filled with just that, 18-20 year olds trying to get booze from older people. And every place is just filled with morons standing around. I'd rather go to a sports bar any day and just sit and relax.

Ybor used to be the shit. Then it got overrun with riffraff, crackheads, and jailbaits.

All the respectable people scattered to new places.

Ever since they opened up the street to cars, it went downhill. They even open the streets literally right after the Gasperilla Parade...

Well since you like rap and rock I would say go to Green Iguana on Wednesday night b/c one side they have a dj and play rap and the other side they have a live rock band. You have to be 21. And drinks are cheap on wed. $1 Miller lite bottles and I believe $2 wells.
