I'm may be moving to St. Pete here in a few months and I'll need an apartment if I do. I had wanted to get a house here shortly but it would be stretching my finances uncomfortably thin and I may very well be moving quite a bit in the next few years, so renting is the way for me to go.

Looking to keep it under $900/month. No shitty areas (I know St. Pete has its share of those). I can't even trust the apartment reviews anymore because of all the bullshit involved in the peopel who post, figured actual knowledge from anyone on here that knows the area would be better. Want to be as close to The Howard Franklin as possible.

there are a bunch of really clean places on MLK right at the end, before you get on 275.

VIP - If you go over the Howard Franklin and get off on 4th street, there are at least 8 or 9 apartment/condo places that are very nice and in your price range.

Myself, James and Rina live in Bridgewater and I know they're moving up a couple complex's when we all move out.

Try your luck over there. If you go over to 9th street, there are a few over there as well.

Also try Carillon Park and Feathersound. All very nice, in your price range and close to the Howie.

If you move this way, you'll love it. I've been here 3 years and no plans to go back to Tampa.

Oh, check craigslist too. Or try Apartment Hunters.

I lived on MLK past Roosevelt. I was in the last complex / condos before you got on I-275.

I was spending $925 a month (around there) for a 1 bed, 1 bath, 1 car garage, washer, dryer, and all new appliances. They just built them 5 years ago so they are all modern with new fixtures and what not.

I'm going to move back there when the lease is up here when I'm done with school. If you get a 3rd floor, they're usually $100 cheaper so you can find a nice one with washer and dryer for about $800ish..

They have 3 pools, two gyms, hot tub, laundry room, and they always have get together which are super fun.

Check it out. Bay Isle Key @ www.zomusa.com
