Quickbooks/book keeping

I am interested in learning accounting as maybe a minor. Anybody think I should go to a quickbooks class at erwin to get started?

I notice that a lot of companies hire bookers with quickbooks experience.

Please help if anybody out there is out

Is quickbooks really that hard to learn?

I use quickbooks at work. A lot of jobs pay well for someone who knows it. Let me get in touch with 2 friends i have that are accountants to see if they're really that necessary..

I find it's more for someone who does clerical/administrative/secretary work like I did.

I also didn't find it that hard to learn, but they have courses out there that teach you them, although I didn't take the course myself.
