Well me and the boyfriend broke up in july and I had to move back home which I was depressed did nothing but eat and that got me no where. But we decided to get back together and I just feel disgusting so yesterday was the first time I worked out in a while. I did my moms walk away the pounds video haha where the lady does 4 miles walking in place..moving around..using your arms etc etc. I did that yesterday and today and it kicked my ass. I've been eating better...i had 2 things of yogurt yesterday and a big salad..iceberg mix, lemon juice and feta cheese. And had the same thing today. So I'm gonna do that til end of sept. and see how much weight i drop. Did anyone ever see the comm. for hip hop abs and if it does work? And any suggestion on more healthy food so i dont feel like im starving myself. I would join a gym but im moving back to fla next month so thats kind of a waste. hmmmm:roll:

I don't think that what you are doing is very healthy or going to help you feel more fit......

My suggestion to you would be learn to eat healthy instead of starving yourself.
Whatever you lose will come right back and soon as you eat normal again.
Learn to eat breakfast, eggs, oatmeal, something.
Sure, salad is ok for lunch, but you have close to NO protein in your diet and little fiber.
(If you do eat this way until the end of sept. you wont shit until then. So good luck on enjoying the taste of exlax.)
Dinner, have lean meats, chicken or fish. veggies, brown rice.
no offense, but eating just a salad is sooooo unhealthy for you.
If you want to lose and maintain youre weight, you need to do things the right way instead of expecting a quick fix. In the end, you'll be right back where you started.

and to add, for awhile, all i did was eat just salad everyday. i never ate breakfast, salad for lunch, and no dinner and i didnt lose any weight from it.

Hah... not sure where to begin either. I just made a post in the Powder Room about diets, and I can just copy and paste that. I believe it's a good place to start.
-Drink LOTS of water. It helps flush your system, which helps you loose weight! (and it helps suppress the urge to munch or snack) NOOOO soda.. replace it with water.
-EAT damnit! Starving yourself only makes your body feel like it needs to STORE all that fat to survive, since you're depriving yourself! Like a bear when he hibernates!
-You have to eat breakfast!!!! If you don't, if your anything like me, by the time you eat lunch you will be so ravenously hungry that you'll stuff your face way past the "satisfied" point
-Don't deny carbs, just monitor them. Not eating carbs is like driving a car and not putting gas in it! Carbs are your FUEL! Not only that, but you need the nutrients they provide! Just don't be a carb-junkie (hardest part for me ) Make your portions of carbs smaller, and your vegetable and protein intake a little larger.
-Take more TIME to eat your meal. It takes your stomach about 20 minutes to tell your mind that you're full. If you inhale your meal in 10 minutes, you will end up eating more, and being over-full by the time you realize it. If you take longer to eat, you will end up eating less because your giving your brain time to receive the "I'm full" signal from your stomach, before you totally stuff your face with everything on your place. (I'm a slow eater anyway, so this is easy for me)
-3 meals a day isn't enough! I'm hypoglycemic, but even if your not, the majority of diets out there even advise to eat more than 3 square meals a day. Have a light breakfast, a mid-morning snack (like fruit, or hard boiled eggs), then lunch, and even another light snack before dinner. This way your metabolism ALWAYS has a reason to keep working! If there's nothing to convert into energy, it slows down!
-Some goodies are OK!! When I see that I'm loosing weight, I reward myself every now and again. I deserve it!
-Cardio is your friend! Belly fat is the hardest to get off.. and most people think that crunches alone will do it.. NO! Crunches will TONE... but CARDIO is the most effective fat burner!
-Don't eat too late at night. When you're sleeping, your metabolism is too!
-The little things count. They add up! Like cutting the fat off of your meat, and using light mayo... etc..
That's all I can think of at the moment. If I can think of more I'll post some more tips.
It is definitely a LIFESTYLE change!
