This was the only prototype in the world.

$10,000 starting bid....

....and there are no games that actually function with it....craziness.

That just looks like the first bad idea in the area of pirating/hacking gaming systems to me.

with the online component the sky would have been the limit.. i still have all my DC stuff in a container in storage.. i need to fire it up again

Dreamcast would have killed everything if they had put a DVD drive in it and had EA on board. I still have every game japanese and american and a dreamcast.. Utopia boot disk for the win!

I remember 9/9/99 like it was yesterday. I traded in my Nintendo 64 and ALL of my games for one of those pieces of shit.

I regret that.

N64 sucked. Dreamcast had the best fighting games Bar None.

yeah for 10,000 id rather pay some computer nerd to port the dreamcast over to an emulator and use the rest of the money to buy a top of the line gaming rig and put a down payment on a new car.

Dreamcast had some good games, yeah.. but I definitely enjoyed the games I had for N64 better.

Mario 64, Mario Kart, Golden Eye 007, Starfox.. and so on.

2k football gave madden a run for a while.... For me I'll always remember being stoned out of my gord playing Marvel Vs.Capcom 1 and 2.

they released Skies of Arcadia as Skies of Aracadia Legends for the Gamecube

all of the extra downloadable content for the dreamcast version is unlockable in the gamecube version. I've got it, and it's still excellent

dude best game for DC was Shenmue hands down...THAT GAME PWNED ALL back when it came out...graphics and gameplay were nuts for 99

shenmue was uber.. wish i would have played it all the way through. did they ever complete the trilogy?
