Is Francona trying to lose? I'm just wondering. Its not a good idea to rest all these players. Losing home advantage is not a good look. Our starters have looked like shit and need some rest, but need at least one more start against a solid team. He is managing like a minor leaguer right now. I don't think resting your guys while losing home field advantage, the #1 seed, choice of how many games to play first and the AL East is a great idea, but hey I could be wrong. I'm not happy at all, not at fucking all.

Also who is going to the game Friday Night? Beckett and Kazmir are pitching should be an awesome game.

this is definitely not good, but some of the players are legitimitely hurt and need the rest like coco, manny, and youk...it sucks, this is the second time papelbon has gotten touched up hard in the 8th

Yeah, WTF is going on with the Red Sox? They ARE better than this! They've dropped four straight and now sit on a slender 1.5 game lead in the AL East with 9 games left to play. The Yankees might actually...GASP...catch the Red Sox? Could this be 1978 all over again?

Here's the problem. The Yankees are playing teams below .500. We're not. We're benching pitchers and players at the wrong time. Yes they need rest, but not if they're slumping. I'm very pissed at our management right now.

And Brandon. No I have not. Might do it tomorrow, but last time we just bought bleacher seats at the box office and just sat in our usual section in left field. Had no problems.

I'll say it as I've said to everyone I've talked to...I still have faith that this team will get it together for these last 9 games and close out the division.

And I'll be there Friday night, possibly on the field for batting practice :)

That's what I did last time also. I bought the party deck seats and that's when you saw me. I guess we can do a roll call on Friday and then figure out when to meet up there. All beef aside, a Sox fan is cool by me.

For example: I'm a Yankees fan. Boston is a Red Sox fan. We like to talk smack about our teams. But (no homo :D) I'd have no problem sitting next to him at a game. We may root for rival teams, but we are both baseball fans. I'm sure we'd actually have some interesting stuff to talk about.

Meanwhile, the Yankees beat up their bullpen in a 14-inning game last night, only to lose by 1 run. Shitty thing is, it likely won't matter in the end, anyway, even if the Yanks had won last night...99% chance it's gonna be the Red Sox winning the division, and the Yankees getting the wild card.
