My grandparents have a Sony Projection Tv, Model # KP41T65, they said one day it just went out no picture no sounds and the stand by light blinks continuously. I searched around online and found this Continuous Blink Once A Second, No Pausing As Discussed Above---
No reply from the jungle IC301 (data bus is busy, shorted to ground or held high), IK video path is defective.

Since they are older they need a larger tv and if they need to get a new one it will probably be another projection, since they dont have the money to drop on another +41" tv (they need that closed captioning )

Anyways does anyone know a good tv repair shop that I could take it to for them? Or is this something serious and the set just needs to be replaced?

shorted to ground means bad chip and any board level soldering is in the 100s off the bat.

but if the alternative is a new set, its probably worth it. Have them replace the backlight while they are servicing it, its cheaper.
