I don't really care so much for the Tampa campus... St. Pete is much more attractive IMO. Regardless, the best school in the Greater Tampa Bay area is probably the University of Tampa.

I have looked at 3 universities:
USF
University of Tampa
St. Petersburg College
I do want to visit all three of them in person, so I just requested them to send me seperate information about their programs and all that...I may try to come down there for a visit during my spring break week, or summer when school's out....

Are you out of state? If you are tuition to UT might not be that much more than USF.

Since you will be paying out of state tuition, USF will cost you 16k whereas UT will cost you 20k. Now if you live off campus for a year you would qualify for in state tuition then USF would just cost about 3k so you may want to take that into consideration.

you also have to fill out some paper work and get it signed by the right people in the right places, its a pia.
::edit:: didn't see you've done it once before for GU, good luck with your transfer.

Total estimated cost for a year at USF for out of state student is 29,850. That includes books, housing, and stuff like that.
Thats over 10,000 more than in state.

yeah, but i am not worried about that. if i am to go to USF or any of the colleges, i will just live off campus and take a few classes there.. or i can start going to community college there, then transfer to USF after a year or two..
it's official. I am going to visit USF campus and other colleges during my college's Spring Break, which is March 9-14... I just want to see the entire campus.. :)

What year are you? If you are going for your AA HCC, in a way, is similar to associate programs at other universities plus cheaper! USF is a good research school! But why the move?
Oh yeah chicks are everywhere! The freaks are what you need to be looking for!

UT hands down. Best facilities. Small campus. Best connections in Tampa. 70% female... and they are HOT. I hate to leave the place, but 20k/year x 5 years... you do the math. Finally done in May. What a school.
i have a degree from eckerd college in sociology...however the tuition there is pretty unreasonable. i think...based upon exit exams...that eckerd students do the best of the schools in the bay area. at least that was the case 4 years ago when my class graduated.
