Took a few pictures the other day...help please! *First time posting pics!*

Hopefully I will be posting much more in here once I learn to use this thing a little better! The other day me and a couple friends biked around tampa palms and I snapped a few shots. Feel free to give any advice!

This Anhinga I spent like 25 minutes inching closer and closer until I was probably within 3 feet of him...it was so cool. I actually had to zoom out a little with the kit lens!

Then, I was sneaking up on another bird and it took off before I could get close enough with my kit 18-55 lens. I looked down and this little guy didnt even see me. I snuck within 4 feet of him before he took off. Im pissed though because I forgot my circular polarizer filter at home!
