First, say who you'd WANT to be on the ticket, then say who you realistically think will be on the ticket...do this for both parties.

I'll start...

DEMOCRATS
WANT: Anyone but Clinton/Anyone but Clinton
REALISTICALLY: Obama/Edwards

REPUBLICANS
WANT: Paul/Anyone
REALISTICALLY: Romney/Giuliani

I highly doubt that Romney would want Rudy as his running mate, Rudy just doesn't have the ability to keep his ego in check to be the second man in the White House. I think Romney will likely pick Thompson (if he's smart) because he needs to appeal to the Southerners.

For the Democrats the delegate counts are heavily favoring Clinton.

Democrats:
Likely: Obama / Edwards (or some unkonwn)
Want: Hillary / ??? (this would be soooo easy to beat)

Republicans:
Likely: Romney / Thompson
Want: Thompson / Bolton (Former UN Ambassador)

I suspect a deal was made between Thompson and Romney just prior to the last debate. It explains Thompsons kamikaze run on Huckabee.

Good point...I'm just not looking forward to 4 or 8 years of plastic man Romney as prez...he's annoying... :lol:

Believe me, Im pissed about his 2nd amendment stance, but Im probobly going to hold my nose and vote for him because of his economic plans. I can't buy assault rifles if Im poor.
