Remember even if you are independent you can still vote in the amendment issue about property taxes.

The polls will be open from 7am to 7pm I believe, but I would double check that. The lines should move quickly because most areas only have the President, and the amendment issue, but if you don't want to wait in line, remember for the general election you can either vote absentee, or go to an early voting site.

Goto your local Supervisor election website for poll locations and sample ballots:

The Florida primaries will likely decide the nominee for the Republican party. For many elections now, no Republican has won the party nomination without winning Florida. In addition, because of the political makeup of Florida, the Tampa Bay area is THE critical swing vote area in the state. That's why they've been campaigning so hard here and inundating us with all those political ads.

WE control the future of the GOP! WE have the power!

Get out there and VOTE!!!

My entire office just left to all go vote. I don't vote so now I'm here alone. Time to goof off :haha:

This may sound dumb, but is there a way to check what my party affliation is? I thought I was a registered republican but all I got to vote on was the ammendment...

Anyone know?

If all you got was the amendment you are registered as an independent. You can ask your local supervisor of elections for your party affiliation and the form to change it.

Yeah I already read I have to submit another voter registration to change my party affiliation, I just wish I would have checked before today. Oh well, I will take care of it before elections.
