For the first time in my adult lifetime, I'm really proud of my country. And not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change. And I have been desperate to see our country moving in that direction. And just not feeling so alone in my frustration and disappointment I've seen people who are hungry to be unified around some basic, common issues and it's made me proud.

I dunno about that second bit, but the first bit pisses me off to no end. If it takes your husband having a shot at running the place to make you proud of it, your world-veiw is awfully narrow and self-centered.

As she isn't a candidate herself, Im willing to chalk this up to her misspeaking herself until I hear a clarifacation though. I really don't think its appropriate to go after the family of a candidate unless there is a pretty damn compelling reason (i.e. married to a felon, spouse held office in a contentious manner, etc.) as it tends to lower the debate to one person making ad-hominim attacks while the other seeks to defend their family.

I'm almost 100% sure that statistically, more white people are behind bullshit lawsuits looking for paydays. Every time a news article is posted about a someone trying to sue for something stupid they're generally of the caucasian persuasion.

Race issues are perpetuated to keep us at war with each other, the powers that be want us to hate each other so they can keep us distracted from the fact that the average American is getting poorer and more desperate by the minute.
The issue is Poverty people.

The true minority in this country are the rich elitists that make decisions that will affect how we live our lives. It's easier to rip us off when we are at war with each other. Imagine three kids in the school yard. Kid #1 Tells Kid #2 that kid #3 called his mom a fat, stinky matress-backed prostitute. Kid #3 leaves his lunch box to go punch kid #2 in the face. Kid #1 takes the lunch box. Kid #1 generated his own opportunity to captalize on hatred and fear. I could go on and on...

To me, it doesn't matter which party is in office because I'm not going to benefit either way. I'm in a "middle-class" income level, which means I can't afford anything and never will. I know that there are Black, Latino, Asian, or Native American men who struggle like I do to work hard to get ahead only to slip more and more behind. I won't hate anyone based on race, life is already difficult enough.

People sue out of pure desperation, some for different reasons than others. Watch a rap video, listen to the lyrics, should we be surprised that some kid with no hope will rob, steal or even kill to try to achieve what they perceive a normal, happy life should be? Money, cars, bitches and ho's can all be had for a price, sorry kid, you can't afford it.

Race and all other issues aside, I've seen a couple other vids of her speaking now, and she just comes off as Pissed-off regardless of the situation. Not a terribly likable woman from what I've seen so far.
