If you love the USA so much, why are you currently the one chanting against us attempting to restrict other countries who are unstable and don't much like us from making mass amounts of weapons that could pose a really serious threat to us? Why are you always the one preaching 'fair play' rather than 'what keeps us safe and a step above the rest'? Do you live in a fairy tale world where if we're real nice to the rest of the world they won't attack us? I'm confused, because everything I advocate works to expand peoples' rights and civil liberties AND keep America as far on top as possible.

WORST CASE SCENARIO if we have to storm Iran right now, no big fucking deal. If we live and let live and do the 'right' thing and let everyone do what they want and play 'fair' and have to storm them in a decade, we might be in serious, serious trouble. I just don't get your reasoning for why we SHOULDN'T do things to keep this country safe.

If were really the big dog on the planet, in 10 years we should be stronger than we are today, so why keeping digging the countries financial grave???? Even if we dont go to war with Iran, the economy is still in the shithole. We cant even afford to build this fucking base, let alone maintain it. Dont you know what happens when you live above your means for an extended period of time???

The country's finances and military operations are two seperate topics and require two seperate solutions. The DoD has a MASSIVE budget, and with smart money management we could afford to execute plenty of military operations without going bankrupt - Clinton did it just fine (although some claim a bubble or some other stupid shit because they just can't stand giving someone they don't like credit for something. I know). We balance the budget, we could all live comfortably AND strike the middle east all the time without having problems. We can tackle both issues at the same time, however.


Now, once we commit ground troops the costs increase exponentally and it becomes a different story. But we wouldn't occupy Iran anyways - we'd just oust Amanahjafuckhead and have someone else put in power. Iran's populace is much more stable than, say, Iraq's. They're capable of putting another government together and maintaining order.
