Is it me or does this woman not look like a First Lady? Seriously WTF did this woman do to her face, she does not even look human. Her face looks like it came out of a Micheal Jackson spare parts bin.

Also what kind of first lady steals prescription drugs from a children's charity. This woman has buko bucks and she has to STEAL her drugs FROM HER CHILDREN'S CHARITY to support her opiate habit? And the kicker, when the director of the charity found out and confronted her SHE FIRED HIM.
:lmao: :lmao:

But it was already becoming clear that Cindy McCain's life was not all altruism and awards. The previous year, volunteer doctors began complaining that Cindy McCain had been using their DEA numbers. The Drug Enforcement Agency itself had been calling and asking about rather sizable orders of Percocet, an addictive painkiller. Hundreds of Percocets were missing from AMVT's inventory.

In August 1994, a long, grim and protracted scandal blew open. What eventually came out is that Cindy McCain had been addicted to painkillers such as Percocet ever since she had back surgeries in 1989, sometimes popping as many as 20 in a day. And she had been stealing them from the nonprofit organization she had founded. The lawyer that her husband had used during the Keating Five scandal was put on the case; she eventually signed off on an agreement with the U.S. Attorney's office that included financial restitution and treatment for her addiction.

There were accusations of blackmail, and a coverup. When Cindy McCain publicly revealed her addiction -- saying that she hoped it would give other addicts courage in their struggles -- some of her detractors thought it was nothing more than a political preemptive strike.

LOL very first lady like, stealing from a charity to support your addiction. But i guess when you have had everything in life handed to you, why would you expect to support your own drug habits when it is much easier to steal from a children's charity.

If this was anyone else stealing enormous amounts of drugs from a charity, enough to warrant investigation from the DEA, you could bet your ass they would be in jail.

The McCain camp had organized the interviews to head off a more negative story that was pending publication in the alternative weekly Phoenix New Times. That piece centered on a former American Voluntary Medical Team employee who accused Cindy McCain in a lawsuit of ordering him to conceal "improper acts" and "misrepresent facts in a judicial proceeding."

The accuser was Tom Gosinski, whom the charity had fired in 1993. He had tipped the DEA to check out Cindy's organization. He filed the lawsuit as a warning shot. His real allegation was that Cindy McCain had fired him because he "knew too much" about her drug use.

It happens, doctors screw up and get their patients addicted to drugs, it's can be hard to balance the right amount for a patient.

I highly doubt she was stealing them for money, likely only taking from because it's easier to make the pills disappear from inventory, then to go get multiple prescriptions for them.

Yea but most people talk to their doctors to work out a plan to ween themselves off the drug. Not set up an elaborate scheme using unsuspecting volunteer doctors DEA numbers to make large purchases of prescription drugs with charity money under the guise of goodwill.

Some people sell their possessions to get drugs, this woman defrauded a fucking charity to get hers, big difference. Then on top of all this she fired the man who tried to help her.

What this woman did is fucking disgusting.

It sucks, it happens, it was investigated by the DEA, prosecuted by the DA (appointed by Clinton), and she paid restitution.

Some people just have personalities that makes them hard to talk about their faults to a doctor. Or they don't think it's a big deal.

So she did something wrong and was prosecuted and completed the requirements from the prosecution, correct?

I dunno but for some reason I seem to think that you would swear Barack and Michelle are saints.

You may be surprised what you find in Michelle's past if you would go back to her early 90s...

I know your trying to imply she is some anti American militant black. But the only proof of this is her saying she is now proud of her country.

And McCain said the same thing, he wasn't proud of America till he was like 20 when he joined the service. Why be proud of your country if you are a spoiled kid who also had everything handed to him.

Look them up... much of their "I worked through shitville in poverty to get here" is all show...

Not to many career politicians that can even come close to running for president got there on their own accord. If you think otherwise, then you are seriously misguided.

And so it begins. People have run out of things to actually critisize the canidates over, so they go after their wives. And it knows no political party lines, no bounds - everybody participates in the douchebaggery.

I don't recall the first lady being an elected position, or holding any direct power for that matter. Aside from the lame excuse that, "Oh, she'll rule through the president!" which got old like 2 days after people started it with Clinton, they're an insignifigant figure in the scheme of things.

And I'm not sure why this went from bitching about first ladies like you're all a bunch of old women who don't get fucked enough to bashing the presidental canidates. But either way you're all lame.

The chubby chick on the right on her is their daughter.

She was out with Heidi from The Hills a few nights ago. Obviously she's very smart.

The difference is Hillary and Michelle Obama put themselves out there for criticism. They both are very vocal in campaigning for their husbands. Everyone knows how much Hillary campaigned for Bill, and Michelle was given the title of "the closer" by her own husband. Both these women were/are very actively speaking on the typical issues and propping themselves in the spotlight. They rode their husband's coattails and are very willing to accept an active role in politics.

Incidentally they're both lawyers too.

In contrast Cindy McCain just happens to be married to a presidential candidate.

And she's a schoolteacher. Special education.

I would totally dump the wife that waited for me while I was in the Hanoi Hilton and supported me through my recovery to get with Cindy McCain!

Besides, we have the Betty Ford clinic so having a first lady that is an addict is nothing new.

And is it worse having a recovering First Lady or a President that used to do drugs?

Get used to it, the 60s children have come of age. Don't expect it to get better with future generations.

I think she's pretty much a trophy wife with money. Isn't that what every American male wants? I have to question morals of a 24 year old girl that ran off with a 42 year old married man that she met at a cocktail party.

Carol: "The breakup of our marriage was not caused by my accident or Vietnam or any of those things. I don't know that it might not have happened if John had never been gone. I attribute it more to John turning forty and wanting to be twenty-five again than I do to anything else."

Then you should question his first wife too, since she was married when she met McCain.

Anyways, his current marriage has been going for 28 years so there must be something working.

Personally I don't care. But you are the one that questions Cindy McCain's morals. I'm just pointing out a similar situation on the flip side. I suppose if you believe when a broad's husband is fucking around it means it's ok for her to fuck a future Senator then so be it. Honestly I really don't care. I'm just seeing some selective morality there.

Chuck, riding McCain's nuts? I wish he'd actually come around and recognize one of the few decent politicians with an (R) next to their name one of these days. As an outside party who likes to rag on him for being an old stochy cranky god-fearing conservative, I can assure you that he isn't.

I wonder myself why he hasn't gotten married and tried to start a family...Nader is an odd character the more I read about him... "He is austere, self-righteous, dogmatic, zealous, uncompromising, indignant, and judgmental, with a grim and prudish sense of morality"

http://crab.rutgers.edu/~goertzel/NaderBio.html

According to this site it stemmed from childhood as over controlling parents who wouldn't allow him to eat frosting off his own bday cake :-o

And if he refuses to own a car, thats gonna be a problem getting a date lol

But, I don't think Americans can relate to him in some obscure ways.

I think I got thick skin, I swam over here, jk.. But, I can read people pretty easy and get a sense where their true intention is and just because someone inserts smileys and lolz, doesn't mean there isn't some anger undertones in the subconscious that they may be trying to cover up. And usually, fear is the root of anger. We need a Psychology forum

If you think I have anger managment issues you couldn't be more wrong.

In reality I simply posted a flaw in your reasoning and you took it as a personal attack. Apparently you believe disagreeing with people is personal.

Regardless, I'll refrain with the smileys when replying to your posts.

From the Nader bio...

Whenever the Nader children invited someone over for a birthday party, Rose would dutifully prepare a perfect cake- chocolate frosting, candles, the works. But it was only for display. Before anyone could take a bite, she would strip away all the frosting, asking "You don’t really want that, do you?"

Whoa...that's some fucked up shit right there...
