American television has been shitty for years, and here is why.

The networks are hurting for money. They dont have the money to spend like they used to, and real television series take lots of money to produce. So they do these rediculous game shows (who wants to me a millionaire, are you smarter than a 5th grader, etc) and reality shows which are pretty cheap to produce. And they get ratings because there are morons who watch it

I'm sorry dude, but the original japanese game show that first showcased this SIDE game (not main event) called it human tetris, and I've watched every episode. It was a very good gameshow and I laughed at it a pretty good amount.



I think it's really lame that some fox fuckup decided to steal the idea and show it here..

+1 agree. The Japanese game show of this was funny, I hate it when we have to remake stuff. Hollywood is out of ideas.
I think the Office is one show they did ok re-doing here, but now NBC is doing a remake of the Australian show Kath and Kim, Fox is doing this, ABC did that whole I survived a Japanese game show.
Just knock it off, come up with new ideas, not ideas from other countries.

I love my Netflix account more and more.

MXC is awesome, it's the perfect show to watch when there is nothing else on.

Most of the best programming (IMO) is either on really late at night [Adult Swim] or is on the movie channels (Generation Kill, The Sopranos, Dexter, Weeds, Entourage, the list goes on....)
