Respect in the Sports Forum....

Ok this is a serious question to everyone. Lets keep this upbeat and positive. I understand we have all had our battles in here and sometimes it gets down right nasty. Deep down inside of each and everyone once of us we truly care about one another, right??? :lmao: Anyways, what I'm asking to all of you is... Who do you respect in this forum the most when it comes down to sports. You can break it up individually by sport, pick one person or 10. You can explain each selection with a sentence or 2 if you'd like. This person or group of people doesn't have to be a friend, just someone that has earned your respect for their sports knowledge, opinions, discussions, etc. I'll go first....

Sors(we've gone to blows numerous times but he definitely knows his college football)

Bucsfan(need to know something regarding the Bucs he's the man to ask)

Patrick (he seems to be a 5 tool player so to say...knows quite a bit about most major sports)

J-Dizzle (one of the more level headed guys in the forum)

Next.....

nipster has some funny comments, and seems to have a broad range, as long as he isnt taking shots at usf every chance he gets.

krystle gets my vote for being one of the few chicks i actually LIKE talking sports with, and has more knowledge than alot of guys.

lil ze and gervais are the original rays fans. lil ze has a good knowledge and is very passionate. plus i really cant take him seriously when he calls everyone an idiot or 'you dont know what you're talking about' :lol: cracks me up.

i try to keep shit simple and like dan said Krystle is probably the most knowledgeable sports girl. i dont think i have had any bouts with anyone personally but i think we all voice our opinions in different manners that not everyone respects.

Dan, Jason (J Dizzle), and Jason (Bucsfan) get my reps - They have always posted their opinions/projections with the ability to avoid directly bashing people - and don't act like they know every single thing there is to know about sports...they're super modest about their knowledge. Except Bucsfan...he tends to hate on my Skins a bit too much ;)

I specifically enjoy Dan's posts - always trying not to step on anyone's toes or jinx certain teams ;)

I think for the most part everyone adds quality opinions based on facts to this forum. I tend to stick to the college threads because I'm not a diehard Bucs fan and I haven't really followed the Rays until this year like most people.

I enjoy Sors take on gator football and his insight on other college teams as well. Dan has made very detailed posts when picking his college games this year and I like that. I find we often look at the same things when making our choices but I'm often too lazy to post in detail why I made my picks. Ep, Patrick, Juiced, and J-Dizzle make good comments as well.

Krystle & Lil Ze make good observations at times but I think they let their hatred for certain teams take away from otherwise good posts.

And finally I will show some love for Nipster. Though he drives some people on this board crazy I think most of the time he just says what other people won't. I do think he goes a little too far at times but after all its just the internet right?

Unfortunately I really only stick to the CF threads but I really have a lot of respect for everyone who comes into those threads and posts. Especially with some of the people who can pick up on a mistake in about 20 seconds and let everyone know in 23 seconds. I would actually say I don't have respect for only a few people and those few know exactly who they are. And no EP, you've been around long enough to earn some respect even though you were number one on my hit list for years. :lol:

I just like having knowledgable people to talk shit to night and day & really enjoy it when they have a retort that makes me change my opinion.

Oh and without Nipster this place is boring as hell. :lol: Respect has been given!!!

Krystle - For a girl she knows her sports and is passionate.

Dan - Knows his sports, but for fucks sake does everything have to be an essay. Lol jk.

Patrick - Known lover of OSU, but at least he knows his shit about them.
