So according to this cutting back on interest rates HELPED our housing economy which ultimately aggressively went against the recession in 2007...

http://www.arkansasbusiness.com/article.aspx?aID=99691.61009.111832

Regan actually dropped interest rates and taxes by 50% and lead to 20 million new jobs give or take.
----------------------------------------------------------------

Now I want to give you all a couple examples of cutting back prices and what happens... you can take what I give you and apply it to the difference in policies vs John McCain and Barack Obama.

John has stated that he wants to cut back EVERYONE's taxes.

Obama's only going to raise the 250k/yrly salaried business and workers.

Here's a key example of cutting back prices that most of us can even relate to.

Now, let me give you an example of what happens when you raise prices, again keep in mind Obama wants to raise taxes on these big companies. I can't stress enough how much you people don't know this, but these companies do not pay their own taxes, this is how they can stay in business. These companies make YOU pay their taxes. Which means raising their taxes is basically like spitting in YOUR face.

Yeah, I know, I directly benefited from that in a 9% interest rate saving on 50K over 30 years. That's why I vote Republican.
The concept is easy, instead of pulling money out of the system to feed the government, you lessen taxes, especially on businesses, and then more people get hired. The more people that get hired, the more people pay taxes , buy products and gain wealth, and invest, which grows the economy.
No nation ha sever taxed it's way into prosperity, we won't either, I figure about this time next year there will be some serious voter's remorse.

you are definitely not the one missing the point. IMHO, it takes too much thought to grasp the big picture when people can just latch on to a sound bite that says what they want to hear.

holy shit, you got off your redneck ass and actually did a little research! Its amazing how much LESS stupid you sound when you actually try to learn.

still a stupid argument though. Bush CUT interest rates which only maintained the unemployment and inflation growth. The economy isn't the same as it was 20 years ago. Things change, get with the program.

Neither candidate is talking about cutting spending. They both suck.

It surely would not help obama...since he stated that he didnt mind seeing $4 a gallon price, he just didnt like seeing it go up so quickly

I didn't say it was going to help anyone, I just find it strange that we're so close to election day and we've already had a HUGE fucking bailout, a lot of fingerpointing and the gas prices have dropped 1.50 in the last 3 months or so.

By the way captain, the democrats in the house are in charge of windfall taxing the oil companies... now I can't go around pointing fingers at anyone on this matter, I simply was questioning why we're so close to election day and we have the democrats cheating, oil prices going down, and a big democratically generated bailout...

Conspiracy, maybe.
